  • Portrait of Rachael Martin

    Rachael Martin

    Piano and voice

Rachael has loved music theory, singing and piano since she was a young girl, and studied voice and choral arts at Shenandoah Conservatory. She remembers what it was like to be a student and brings that into her teaching, with purposeful reactions and empathetic responses. She balances necessary repertoire and technique with the development of a personal style, and works with each student to build custom practice habits that fit their lifestyle, which is especially helpful for neurodivergent students and busy schedules. She teaches all skill levels of piano, modern voice (pop, rock, musical theater, show tunes, punk and more) and classical voice, and offers vocal restoration and speech coaching for students 17+.
