Price Matching: Save by Switching

We will price match any competitor in the state of Maryland that charges less than we do. Snap a picture of your quote and bring it to your rental appointment.

Rent-to-Own

Looking for a quality instrument to buy but can't handle the upfront price? We will source one for you. You pay $40 a month toward the principal plus $5 a month interest until your instrument is paid for.

Rental Policies

  • Patrons assume liability for repair costs when instruments are returned broken or damaged outside of normal wear and tear. The credit card on file is charged the amount needed to restore the instrument to its original state before the rental period.
  • Price matches do not apply to offers that require a bundle purchase of multiple products or services from a specific store, and cannot exceed a 100% discount for any rental period. Matches must come from a Maryland storefront of a competitor, meaning another Maryland store that offers musical instrument rentals. They do not apply to production or amplification equipment.
  • If a patron forfeits a rent-to-own contract, Sharp Studios retains the instrument and continues to rent it out. A 31-day notice period is required to terminate your rent-to-own contract, and additional charges may apply.
  • Piano procurement does not include the cost of moving the piano. Additional charges may apply.
  • Sharp Studios does not guarantee serviceability of procured pianos. Our technicians work hard to evaluate used pianos and find options without irreversible damage, but the client is responsible for piano upkeep and maintenance.
  • Sharp Studios does not currently offer piano tuning and repair.
  • All Sharp Studios library instruments are owned and maintained by Ms. Rachael, who wants to make music education accessible. She gladly accepts donations of sheet music, textbooks and instruments if you or a family member are looking to downsize.
